Disted Chess Challenge Open 2007

Disted Chess Challenge Open 2007 is organized by Disted Stanford College, Penang on 29 July. Though the participants are one of the lowest chess tournaments(52 only), it does attracted two National Masters and the recently crowned Penang Chess Champion...

 And guess what, they finished top 3! NM Jonathan Chuah is the champion, finishing with 6.5 out of 7. On the route to Champ, he beat NM Ng Tze Han at round 5 and drew with Tan Khai Boon at round 6. Tan Khai Boon finished the same score(with only draw with NM Jonathan Chuah) but losing on tie break to NM Jonathan and thus, took the 2nd place. NM Ng Tze Han is third with only one lost to NM Jonathan Chuah. No doubt, they are simply a class higher than the rest! Disted Chess Challenge Open 2007 winners are summarized as below :
