2008 Pesta Pulau Pinang Chess Open Tournament

Rating Rules:
1900 rating cap: Restriction: The average players rating (MCF Chess Rating) during play should be less than 1900.
Note: The MCF Chess Rating is approximately 250 points below FIDE elo rating. Player is allowed to register using MCF rating or FIDE rating minus 250 points whichever is lower.
e.g.
Player 1, FIDE 2500: 2250 (2500-250)
Player 2, National rating: 1800
Player 3, National rating: 1600
Average = 1883

Maximum number of teams is 60.

Team line up can be changed on Saturday (13th Dec 2008) before the captain's meeting otherwise the line up during registration will be used.
