Teoh Ern Tek manage to beat 2nd placing Wong Hao, 4th placing Ong Choon Yong, 6th placing Lim Chuin Khai and 10 placing Tan Lu Quan. His only loss is to third placing Elgin Lee. Having played 5 top 10 finisher, it is no wonder his Buch score is top.

Grand Prix, Final Leg

The participant of final leg Grand Prix is also affected, this time is by the neccesity of U9 selection to have players to represent MSSPP for the AsEAN YOUTH TEAM players also organise by PCA at the same time. Nevertheless, there are there are more than enough replacement for the withdrawal players.

This final round saw 3 players representing MSSPP at April 07 back in chess scene :

Top seed Elgin Lee manage to stop his gallant run but it's not enough to stop him from
clinching the title.
