The European Team Championship is under way in Crete, Greece. After 3 rounds,  Russia with Svidler, Morozevich, and Grischuk is now leading the event with 6 match points along with Slovenia, Azerbaidjan, and Netherlands. The women's section saw Hungary, Poland, and Russia sharing the lead with maximum match points.
