In response to feedbacks and appeals from members and the public we are pleased, after due consideration, to revise the Entrance Fee structure to RM60.00 for members and RM90.00 for non-members. 8th Bangkok Chess Club Open 2008 concluded on the 6th of April with Xiu DeShun winning the event with 8/9!

There were 17 Malaysian playing in the open category with Tan Khai Boon getting the best Malaysian performance with 5.5/9 while Thong Yung Chen winning the 2nd place of Junior Prize with 5.5/9!

2 junior players from Malaysian participated in the challenger category with William Lee Kah Howe winning 2nd place of the junior prize with 3/7.
